About Us

About Our Church

Warm Christian Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus!

It brings me great joy to introduce you to the West London Church of God, a vibrant Pentecostal community located in Southall, within the London Borough of Ealing, England, UK. Our journey began with a vision to establish a Malayalam Worship Service in London, addressing a unique need within the community.

From humble beginnings of gathering in homes, we have evolved into a thriving congregation that now gathers in a dedicated place of worship. In fact, we proudly held the distinction of being the very first Malayalee Pentecostal church in the area. Over time, our community has flourished, witnessing the growth of several more churches in London.

Since the arrival of Pastor Saji Mathew in 2000, our congregation has been blessed with regular Malayalam Services in Southall. Our church family has been enriched by the addition of numerous talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, including Catholic, Marthomites , and Jacobite (Orthodox), who have united in their faith journey. Moreover, many have found a profound connection to Christ, committing their lives to His service.

Today, we are humbled to serve a dynamic and diverse group of attendees hailing from Southall, Hounslow, Stanwell, Ashford, Stains , Heathrow, Ealing, Acton, Wembley, Sudbury, Twickenham, Isleworth, Hanworth, Feltham, Hayes, Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Slough, Burnham, and Northolt. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Lord for His continuous blessings upon our church community.

As we continue to grow and thrive, we invite you to be a part of our story, a story of faith, fellowship, and transformation. Together, we celebrate our past, embrace our present, and look forward to a future filled with hope, love, and service to our Lord and Savior.

Our Mission

  • To reach out through the love of God and communicate the message of the Christian Gospel and way of life to all people regardless of their age, racial, social, religious or sexual background.
  • To demonstrate by integrating and actively involving all such people in the life of our church, the working of a truly inclusive community of believers.
  • To bring real and demonstrable help and relief to such people suffering spiritual, emotional or physical need (John 3:16-17; Romans 15:13).
  • Finding the lost, equipping the found.

Statement of Beliefs

Declaration of Faith: The Church of God believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. The Church of God has adopted the following Declaration of Faith as its standard and official expression of its doctrine.

We Believe:

  • In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
  • In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
  • That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
  • That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
  • Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
  • In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
  • In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
  • In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
  • Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
  • In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
  • In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
  • In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
